4/14/2024 0 Comments Watch the raid redemption subbed![]() ![]() For what it's worth, I actually thought the first one was slightly better. I watch everything with subtitles, even films with english audio since I'm not a native speaker and sometimes I struggle with some accents.Īnyway, I also watched the Raid 1& 2 for the first time this week and they both blew my mind, I can't wait to watch them again. ![]() Reading subtitles becomes a reflex after a while, you don't even notice them anymore. Unless you're watching a cheesy 70s Godzilla film you should avoid them. Why did you even bother watching a dub? Asian films always have the worse dubs. But then I guess you could argue, the moments you want to watch (the fight scenes), there wouldn't be much talking anyway. I'm thinking about watching the next film with just English subtitles - the only problem being, is that I'll be staring at the text a lot rather than the actual scenes. I can't imagine that the original Indonesian script had *that* much swearing, but hey, what do I know. I mean I'm not one to normally say that as a complaint, but in this film, it was way too excessive - both liberally and unnecessarily used in many instances. I appreciate there's not much you can do with the quality of it when it's not the original actors speaking, but my god there is way too much swearing. One downside I will mention (although it's not inherently the film's fault) is the god awful English dubbing. ![]() It was an adrenaline rush all the way through and I definitely want more - now onto the Raid II. So this film has been on my film backlog for a while, but I finally decided to watch it, and holy crap are the action sequences very well choreographed and realistic. ![]()
